McKinnon began her career in Washington DC in the nonprofit industry managing public relations for major national programs and events, landing segments on NBC’s TODAY Show. She was later drawn to the high-energy of the higher education field, successfully growing and building community through digital marketing and launched a six-figure paid social media strategy.

 

She now works as a civilian for the United States Air Force, building the nation's future through creative recruitment & culture marketing campaigns.

 

Known among her professional circles as "the diplomat," McKinnon's talent lies in gracefully finding solutions to complex problems through a creative eye, attention to detail, and strategic vision for the future.
